The repeated rhythm of “dun dun dun dah” in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, Op. 67 is actually the letter “V” in Morse code. At the time, Beethoven’s country, Germany, was at war. Beethoven wanted to communicate victory through this song to show his patriotism.

What an amazing and talented man.  He succumbed to cancer I understand.  No arrow in the knee jokes but I wonder if he would have appreciated that. I think he would have.   His art certainly left a huge mark on this world… it has for me!  RIP Adam!!

A staff member at the University of Michigan’s Centre for Chinese Studies was sorting through boxes in a storage room, and found fifteen hand-made papercut propaganda posters dating from China’s Cultural Revolution.
